Acting, Writing, Directing, Creative and Technical Auditions / Interviews - Generally bi-monthly auditions held for each of the two in-house companies in NYC and in Los Angeles. We generally post with Actors Access, Backstage and Playbill.
The Basics Dues after 3 months in company: $20 a month ($5 discount to actors over 55). This helps cover the little cost of running a company for office management, utilities and very basic necessities with the balance going toward monthly rents. All payments are tax-deductible and are treated as donations.
Requirements of membership Attend company meetings and shows; work six hours artistically, teach class, or in production per month remotely or in person when not in a performance. Participate in builds and strikes, benefits, etc... whenever possible. We usually work weekends in LA and in NYC depending on the performance and office schedule.

Free and low cost classes sponsored by membership and our associations, discounts to members producing their own shows, yearly showcase, member resource materials, free admission to company shows; training offered in playwrighting, screenwriting, directing, producing, production and acting, in-house film workshop and classes in production, exclusive casting within company excepting special circumstances with all members guaranteed an audition, no auditions required for film or approved staged readings (event producer can cast as needed from company first), member-written plays are workshopped with the chance to be produced and programs offered to support the company's writers, directors, and technical artists with new opportunities for directing and assistant directing, use of theatre space when available $10.00 per hour for rehearsals, free submissions for company members for international submission based projects.
Production info: Two mainstage shows per year, monthly readings, musical and play development projects, new play workshop readings, chance to initiate and/or propose new productions and are given guidance in pursuing their dream projects,
House style: We specialize in the development of new works, however we produce published works. We also concentrates on new works, either in-house writing or originals submitted through play competitions. Productions tend to be ensemble-based, with heightened theatricality to keep our productions mean and lean focusing on the written word. Company pairing with other professional artists and looking to work with companies that explore their mission of working with kids in challenging circumstances to create original theatre with our company.
