Our Production Management & Producers for Write Act Repertory are looking to ADD to our growing number of Over-Hire opportunities for crew positions for Non-union Showcase / Independent Theatre Productions and onstage films in and around NYC and in LA.
PSM, ASM, Electrics, Sound, Set, Props, AV/Projection and Wardrobe Departments. We are also looking for Web / Graphics and Marketeers! Certified COVID COMPLIANCE Managers.
Over-hire crew main function help Load-ins, Shows, Show Maintenance and Load-outs.
Showcase and Waiver Gigs - Some pay / stipends / credit - perfect opportunity for building your resume. For Professional Gigs - pay range is $15 - $28 per hour DOE and job position. This is always a part-time and last-minute situation. Some opportunities do turn into gainful long run show employment in certain cases.

Intern - Production Off-Broadway Plays IMMEDIATE Write Act Repertory - NY Office IMMEDIATE Internship Positions - Part Time / Full Time
A busy NYC Off-Broadway and LA-based company are looking for production interns to work on multiple Off-Broadway theatre productions, television, and film development related projects. Please note: this internship is UNPAID and is local to NYC, but we can offer college credit. Travel Stipend for our out-of town office travel outside NYC, food, and professional credits or accredited recognition for certain positions to be negotiated as you work further in the program. We do have professional credited positions that open up within the company in our Stage Management & Design areas.
Ideal Candidate Have a keen and dedicated interest in development for predominantly theatre focused productions, however, there will be mentorship in various other fields in the entertainment arts.
Production Associates Musts Have a sense of humor. Ability to hit the ground running. Have strong communication skills. Follow instructions well. Take initiative to assist wherever needed. Have a LOT of patience. Be a Zoom expert - if possible as the Producer is not an needs help :>)
Experience / Interest but not limited Social Media Producing Production + Stage Management Directing Design (set, lighting, sound, costuming, props, etc) Front of House/Box Office Publicity and Marketing Web-Design Theatre Management
Ideal candidates should be either currently enrolled in a college/university program (school credit available), recent graduates, or individuals looking for Professional Internships opportunities.
We are looking for our new colleagues to begin immediately, with opportunities extending into the summer and beyond. Be prepared to work between 15-20 hours each week; we will work with you to set your schedule. Please note that our shows are on during the week(end) and applicants will be required to work at least one of these productions FOH and Backstage.
If you have outside "pay your rent job" and are still interested in working more full-time, 25 hours a week, you will be afforded more responsibilities, professional credits and real-on-the job-training, with a possible small stipend for productions.
If you are not a resident of NYC or commuter or not able to find your own board/housing, we will not be able to pay for these items.

Intern - Live Theatre Assistant to Producing / Management Teams - IMMEDIATE Write Act Repertory - LA Office IMMEDIATE Internship Positions - Part Time / Full Time
A busy NYC and LA based company is looking for production assistants to work on multiple live theatre and film related projects. Please note: this internship is UNPAID. We can offer college credit to those who are still in school, either now or in the winter / spring. We do have professional credited positions that open up within the company in our Stage Management & Design areas during productions throughout the year.
This will mainly focus on the development of a new musical THE PATH TO CATHERINE - Slated to develop for a fall 2022 opening off-Broadway.
Which is currently being rewritten and newly developed at our incubator theatre in North Hollywood. - The Brickhouse Theatre. You would be working with Producer Tamra Pica as well as the new creative team members.
The Ideal Candidate Have a keen and dedicated interest in theatre and the entertainment arts. Have a sense of humor. Hit the ground running. Follow instructions well. Have strong communication skills. Be prepared to work between 15-20+ hours each week; we will work with you to set your schedule, however we need interns to work some Friday, Saturday, or Sunday events as part of you work requirements.
We take care of work related travel for shopping (gas) and and meals (for longer days) as schedules dictate when your are on company hours - If you are not a resident or commuter or not able to find your own board/housing, Please do not apply for the job in Los Angeles.
